In order to make the first Commonwealth Youth Games to be hosted on the islands unique, the commonwealth organisers are looking for eager volunteers to serve as their Sport Ambassadors.
From August 4 and August 11, Trinidad and Tobago will host the Games, which will feature a full schedule of sports including swimming, athletics and para athletics, cycling, triathlon, fast5 netball, rugby sevens, and beach volleyball. The most unforgettable event for athletes and fans will be created in large part thanks to the Sport Ambassadors.

You will represent the Games as a Sport Ambassador and be a member of a winning team. It’s an opportunity to make a difference, motivate a younger generation, and take part in something genuinely unique.

Anyone is welcome to apply to be a Sport Ambassador.

To help them provide a Commonwealth Youth Games to remember, all you need to do is be positive, enthusiastic, and committed. They need everyone’s help to make the Games a success, including meet and greeters, first responders, venue supporters, kit bearers, courtside aides, and everyone in between.

The majority of the positions do not require any formal education, but they will provide you with all the training you require as you collaborate with a qualified team of sport administrators with extensive worldwide experience. You will be rewarded for your time and effort with a special opportunity to pick up new knowledge, meet new people, and create lifelong experiences.

How To become a Sport Ambassador

Starting on March 3, 2023, you can submit an online application. The process is easy. Although no formal experience is required, they will need your name, address, and proof of identification. You may also inform them about the kind of places you’d want to volunteer in as well as any talents or credentials you may have.
